Dear Satori Community,
Thank you for your patience and continued support over the past few months. We are pleased to announce that we will be partially re-opening for in-clinic services on June 1, 2020. Counselling and nutrition sessions will still be held via remote video conferencing only until further notice.
Our number one priority is the safety of our patients and our team members. Therefore, our re-opening plan is a phased-in approach, following the guidelines of our Provincial Health Officer and Regulatory Colleges, to slowly and responsibly reintroduce our services to our community at large.
In preparation for re-opening, we have made some changes to our physical space, including removing extra seating and non-essential items in our waiting area and placing social distance markers on the floor. Commonly touched surfaces, as always, will be disinfected frequently, and all patient treatment rooms will be disinfected between each and every patient with hospital grade disinfectant. We have also implemented new protocols for booking, billing, arrival and departure to maintain physical distancing wherever possible. A maximum of three patients will be in the clinic at any one time and extra time between patients will allow you to exit before the next person arrives. You will be provided with further instruction prior to your appointment and we need your help in following the new guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety.
As previous to our closure, do not book and instead reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms of fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat and painful swallowing; have been in close contact with a person(s) with COVID-19 within the past 14 days; or have travelled within the past 14 days.
As always, we are here to help you keep healthy and we look forward to seeing you soon (online or in-person).
